Virtual Event: Build a Cheese Platter

May is American Cheese Month! Join us and create a fun and tasty cheese platter - plus learn some cool cheese skills!
Purchase tickets for our virtual event, Monday, May 23rd 5:30-6:30 pm PST.

To celebrate, join Beecher's Head Cheesemonger, Brian Gilbert, at our latest virtual event* where you'll learn how to create your very own cheese platter! Brian will show you how to open, cut, portion, display and 'taste' your cheese. He'll also cover how to store your cheese and give some fun cheese facts, equipping you with the tools to be the new 'Cheese Rockstar' at every party. Your cheese kit will be shipped to your home ~1 week prior to the event and will include two hand-selected Beecher's cheeses, four other cheeses from the Northwest/West Coast, fruit spread, chocolate, nuts and dried fruit. Each platter is enough for a small party of 10-15 people, so gather your friends and family and enjoy a fun night!
  • Featured Beecher's cheeses: Flagship, Marco Polo Reserve.
  • Northwest/West Coast Cheesemonger's selections: Fresh cheese, flavored cheese; soft ripened, blue.
  • Also included: Dried fruit, nuts, salami, fruit spread, chocolate.
*As part of Beecher's ongoing commitment to furthering cheese education in the United States,100% of the proceeds from this event will benefit the American Cheese Society's American Cheese Education Foundation (ACE). For more information visit: https://www.cheesefoundation.org/american-cheese-month
Things you'll need from your kitchen:
  • Wooden cheese board or slate (a large plate will do) approx.12"x18" but any size will work.
  • Optional pairings: Fresh fruit like strawberries, grapes, figs, pineapple. Dried fruits and nuts like dates, apricots, cherries, walnuts, cashews. (These are all suggestions. Add anything you would like to see on your board!)
