They delivered with an extraordinary combination of traditional Pakistani ingredients with a Beecher’s twist: Flagship cheese and nuts stuffed into Medjool dates and drizzled with chaat masala honey.

Dates stuffed with Flagship Cheese and topped with masala honey

Cooking and Serving Tips

Dates with cheese, nuts, and chaat masala may seem unconventional, but the sweet, savory, spiced, and nutty flavors complement each other in a unique and delicious way. Make them for your next party and watch them disappear in seconds!

The contrast of the caramel-like softness of dates, the crunch of nuts, and the sharpness of cheese makes for a delicious bite. You can customize the nuts and cheese, but we recommend using a Beecher’s Flagship cheese to balance the sweetness.

Extra Tips:
● If you prefer a less sweet version, simply sprinkle the chaat masala over the dates instead of using honey.
● Lightly toasting the nuts enhances their flavor and adds a richer crunch.
● If using very soft or sticky dates, chill them for a few minutes before stuffing for easier handling.
● Grating hard cheeses like Flagship is much easier while still chilled. Let the cheese come to room temperature after grating for more depth of flavor.

These stuffed dates are delicious anytime, but warming them gently enhances their texture and flavor. The heat makes the dates even softer and caramel-like, while the cheese becomes warm and creamy, creating an even more indulgent bite.

To Warm:
● Oven method: Place the stuffed dates on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 5-10 minutes until the dates soften and the cheese softens.
● Microwave method: Arrange the dates on a microwave-safe plate and heat in 10-second intervals until just warm and the cheese softens.
