Thanks to store-bought pizza dough, they’re surprisingly easy to make — simply brush the dough with garlic butter, wrap it around a Just Jack cheese stick, and bake. As they cook, the cheese melts into gooey perfection on the inside and bubbles out into a crisp, golden lace around the edges. Instructions
Remove the pizza dough from the packaging, place on a plate, and lightly coat with olive oil. Let temper at room temperature for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with lightly greased parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, and salt. Set aside.
Divide dough into 6 equal portions and form into balls. Gently stretch each ball into a strip about 10 inches long and 1 inch wide.
Brush each strip with garlic butter. To wrap, place one end of a cheese stick over one end of the dough in a “V” formation, then roll until completely enclosed. Pinch ends closed.
Place wrapped breadsticks evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through.
While breadsticks bake, warm Tomato Cheddar Soup according to package directions. Garnish with parsley.
Remove breadsticks from oven, brush with remaining garlic butter, and serve hot with bowls of soup.
