This elevated take on the classic tomato soup and grilled cheese combo is sure to win over even the pickiest eaters. Rich, comforting, and packed with bold flavor, it makes a satisfying lunch paired with lightly dressed greens or as the start to a cozy dinner.
For an extra layer of smoky indulgence, top it off with crispy guanciale or prosciutto lardons just before serving.

Recipe
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Warm soup on the stove per the package’s instructions.
While the soup is warming, spread softened butter generously over both sides of the baguette slices.
Heat a skillet on medium-high heat, then brown the baguette slices for 2-3 minutes on each side. Look for a slightly crisp crust and golden-brown color to develop.
Remove the bread from the pan, and rub lightly with the whole peeled clove of garlic.
Ladle the warmed soup into two oven-safe bowls, nestle the slices of baguette gently onto the surface of the soup, then heap with grated Smoked Flagship cheese – don’t be shy!
Place the bowls onto a baking sheet to collect any drips, then place them on the middle upper shelf of the oven.
Roast for 5-8 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbling, and lightly blistered.
Remove from oven, sprinkle lightly with flaky salt & enjoy!
