Chocolate

Just Jack & Salted Almond Dark Chocolate

Just Jack‘s higher butterfat combines with the dark chocolate allowing for a creamy, rich, and tangy finish.

Dulcet & 70% Dark Chocolate

The added cream in Dulcet highlights the 70% dark chocolate. The smooth and pure notes of cacao balance Dulcet’s rich tanginess, creating a simple and delicious pairing.

Flagship & Toffee Dark Chocolate

Notes of brown butter from Beecher’s signature Flagship cheese merge with the salty and buttery sweetness of Toffee Dark Chocolate. The rich nuttiness of the cheese meets the deep and rich cacao while sweet toffee highlights this perfect pairing.

Flagship Reserve & Dark Chocolate Caramels

The butteriness of Flagship Reserve evens out with the creamy depth of the caramel, while the sweetness of each match each other in a multi-layered dimensional way.

4-Year Aged Flagship & 85% Dark Chocolate and Berries

Sharp and sweet meld perfectly with bitterness in this pairing, but for extra flavor, add juicy red berries like raspberries or strawberries.

Wine

Marco Polo & Red Blends

Blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc marry perfectly with the savory, light pepper flavors of Marco Polo. Marco Polo’s buttery notes will also enhance the aromas of red and black fruits in your favorite red blend.

Just Jack & Rosé

A medium-bodied rosé is known for flavors of red fruit, flowers, citrus and a green melon finish, pairing nicely with the rich and tangy butter notes of Just Jack.

Flagship & Pinot Noir

Flagship’s unique, robust flavor compliments a light to medium-bodied Pinot Noir, highlighting the bright acidity of black cherry, boysenberry, cranberry, raspberry, and vanilla.

Flagship Reserve & Syrah

The buttered earthiness of this cheese pairs fantastically with this grape varietal, having a flavor bouquet of floral violet, herbs, and black and white peppers.

4-Year Aged Flagship & Cabernet Sauvignon

4-Year Aged Flagship is extra sharp, strong, and bold, meeting the high acidity and tannins of a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine demonstrates fruits of red and black cherry that combine beautifully with this cheese’s tropical fruit flavors of pineapple, mango, and papaya.

ACCOMPANIMENT

Fruits

Whether fresh, dried or as a side compote, sweet fruits, particularly berries, pomegranate, sweet apples and pears, pineapple, and grapes, fruit is a natural partner to cheeses, highlighting the sweetness of the cheese while folding nicely in with the creamy textures.

Spice

It sounds crazy, but a little spice goes well with cheese. Whether it’s a hit of chile pepper to the jam or a dash of habanero over the honey, no one will mind the surprise bite to their pairing.

Nuts

Nuts are a natural pairing for cheese – the crunch with the creamy is particularly pleasant. We do have favorites, though. When setting your tray, reach for pecans, walnuts, almonds (slivered or whole), pistachios, or hazelnuts.

Charcuterie

Many enjoy a lush slice of charcuterie alongside a cheese plate. The rule here is to serve your favorite, whether it’s a dry soppressata, a buttery prosciutto, or a meaty bresaola, it will be a success. Just stay away of flavor additions like fennel, garlic, or peppers. While delicious, you still want the flavors to complement across the board.

Honey

A favorite on a cheese board! If you can serve a little honeycomb with the honey, it makes for a delightful visual. Either way, honey is a great match for most cheeses.
